Nintedanib is a medication that can inhibit the growth of lung cancer. It is already approved for treatment. The goal of the study is to gather even more information on the effectiveness and safety of treatment with nintedanib in combination with docetaxel in a large group of patients. Docetaxel is a conventional, long-established chemotherapy drug. To be eligible for participation, patients must have already undergone treatment with a different chemotherapy regimen and their lung cancer must have progressed as a result—that is, it has metastasized or is growing within the lung. This is a purely observational study; therefore, the doctor and patient make an informed decision to take nintedanib/docetaxel, and there is no control or placebo group. The study will assess how the cancer has progressed after one year; the total duration of the study is set at two years.
